Happy Monday, everyone.
Today, I’m starting a new weekly posting called:
Monday Motivation Minute
Every Monday, I will update with new words of motivation, encouragement, and wisdom (but that was just too long for a name). Beginning soon, there will be YouTube videos to go along with this, so keep your eyes out.
Ok, let’s get started with this week’s Monday Motivation:
Sometimes, when we are facing discouragement, burn out, or if our clients are facing mental health or spiritual health issues, we can find ourselves:
- Spinning our wheels
- Not going in any particular direction
- Or stalling all together
It can be hard to get out of bed, to do our necessary activities, to have bigger vision, or to even see our hope.
So, today, with it being Monday, I’d like to encourage you, if you are in this place, look at your to-do list. Look at your goals. Find the smallest thing on your list that moves you in the direction of your goal, and do that one thing.
You may find your motivation and momentum keep you going to do another thing, but for today, focus on doing at least one thing.
Then, tomorrow, do one more thing.
The more we do that, the more motivated we become, and the more momentum we develop.
If you have a client, patient, or mentee/student tat is struggling in this area, encourage them to do one thing.
Let me know how it goes!
