Ministry

A big part of this tiny house dream is the ministry & training aspect. My goal in travel is not just to travel for travel’s sake, but to be able to minister to youth across the country.

Ministry: office, duty, or functions of the office of minister. A person or thing through which something is accomplished (Webster’s Dictionary)

This is the aspect that will be the most difficult – finding myself trying to balance between supporting myself & doing Christ’s work.

Also, finding churches to partner with. People who also want to be in ministry across the country with teens (often cited as one of the hardest groups to work with).

I have a desire in my heart to really be able to meet & mentor teens all over, awakening a love and passion for the Gospel & His Kingdom. I have a passion to see the desire to know and grow in Him be present in the lives of younger generations.

I honestly don’t know how it is going to go, or logistically how it would all work, but I am in prayer that it would happen.

I am a planner by nature, but  I also know His plans are not always our plans. I know I can only plan so much, but at some point I must step out in faith, believing He will open the doors and prepare the way.

I want to be a person through which the spreading of the Gospel to younger generations across the nation happens.

So, if you stumble upon this blog, please be in prayer for me. Be in prayer that God would open doors and prepare the way. Pray that He would be stirring in hearts all across the country.
