Psalm 127 – Home

Unless the Lord is the builder of my life, I work in vain.
Unless I allow Him to do what He does,
My life will eventually find ruin.
If I toil & strive of my own will,
My sleep is fleeting and unrestful,
For it is He who grants my rest.

It is my Abba who makes my world my home, for now. Because, no matter where I am, I am home if I am with Him.

“Unless the Lord builds a house, it’s builders labor in vain,
Unless the Lord watches over a city, the guards stand watch in vain.
In vain you rise early & stay up late, toiling for food to eat –
For He grants sleep to those He loves.”
– Psalm 127:1-2
