That includes ourselves…
I’m not sure sometimes if it’s harder to love myself or others…Actually, for me, most of the time, it’s harder to love myself. It’s easier for me to focus on serving others.
However, God’s 2 greatest commandments cover love of all:
1st – God
2nd – Other people, with the built in Caveat that we love ourselves.
What God is trying to say is not to ignore other’s needs, just like (for the most part) we’d not deny our own (which, for me, is so not true; I have been completely ignoring my need for regular sleep, meals, and sometimes, bathroom breaks…)
