Getting back into the swing of things, starting with a 5 Minute Friday post.
The rules: Write for 5 minutes, no editing, no over-thinking. This week, the topic is change.
I have been nervous about trying to blog again. It has been a good while since my last post. But, I looked at the prompt and knew it was the place to start.
I am 3 months into my year of change: changing attitudes, changing habits, changing my life.
3 months into it and I have hit a HUGE apathy wall. My motivation has disappeared, my desire seems stunted, and the darkness of depression seems to be rimming itself back near my life.
Here comes the change: now I REFUSE to give in. In to the apathy. In to the darkness.
I have a purpose. To write. To learn. To study.
So, tomorrow, I will wake up, go to the job that I love, and then register for a full load of fall classes for my new venture: Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy.
So, to all the changes, I say, apathy leave! & BRING IT ON!
