Appalled.

So, this started as a twitter rant, but then I realized I had more to say. This blog will not be totally like all my others, will be tinged with a bit more harshness and frustration. That being said, please do not hold it against me:

There are starving and hurting people all over the world. And, America is spending A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS+FILMING COSTS+SALARIES to put narcissistic sociopaths in a house to tear each other down for our entertainment. And, we eat it up. Reality show after reality show. Scripted spontaneity and scenario one after the other. Really?!!

After watching one episode of “The Bachelor Pad” I am convinced that, though we can blame a little bit on editing, they really just look for the worst people they can. They bring in a few nice ones to balance out. But, they always seem to leave early because let’s be honest, we like to see people torn to bits because we get to feel better about ourselves.

THIS IS COMPLETELY CONTRARY TO KINGDOM LIVING, TO THE LIFE CHRIST WANTS US TO LIVE. AND…

It is absolutely appalling that America is allowing this to go on, That we are accepting this as entertainment. That we constantly feed into this. If America doesn’t get it together, we will fall apart. It starts with our media, moves into our homes, and soon we’ve raised a generation that thinks it’s ok to cheat, steal, lie, and whore their way into getting whatever they want.

If we keep allowing the enemy to run rampant, God will continue to turn us over to him…that scares me.

NOW, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
